This weeks residents in reception
Today saw the arrival of 6 Indian runner ducklings. Only a couple of days old these little ducklings will keep us amused in a box under a heat lamp until they are old enough to go outside. We are unsure of their sexes at the moment so they have temporary names to help me identify them. The two yellow will become white and are called Donald and Daisy. The darkest one may turn black and he will be known as Pingu. The brownish one with a yellow halo mark on head will be known as Halo, the one which is brownest on the head will be Kenco and the one with brown, yellow which looks like Orville will be Orville. Can't wait to find out how they turn out. I guess from now on I shall also be known as Debbie Duck as well as Dog!!!

Lovin the names Debs. I love Pingu. I raised 10 wild ducklings once and released them at Castle Hill. Fab experience but a bit messy!!!
